Since 2011, we have been developing web applications helping scientists connect, exchange knowledge, and communicate the results of their research to the public. We have built the largest community of life science professionals and one of the largest scientific career portals. Altogether, we have developed six applications used by thousands of researchers working in all areas of science around the world.
Aside from developing internal projects, we also offer web development and consulting services to scientific and research & development communities. If your goal is to connect researchers in your organisation or consortium, build an alumni community or if you need help with recruiting talented scientists in an efficient way, we are here to help you. The timeline of our organisation and projects
In 2017 we started developing an epidemiology network for an EC-funded consortium. EPI-Net provides barrier-free, timely access to data on emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance in humans and animals and healthcare-associated infections. The platform was launched in 2018.
Science Events is scientific conference organisation tool. The goal of the project is to help scientists organize scientific events. It allows creation of the event webpage, registration forms and provides interactive features for event participants. First events using our platform were organised in 2017. The platform was officially launched in 2018.
Although our work started with the foundation of Life Science Network gGmbH and development of internal projects, in 2017 we decided to create a new organisation with focus on development of web applications for other organisations. We called the organisation Research Elements Association.
Science HR was our third project which we launched in summer 2016. The goal of Science HR is to become a comprehensive job board that makes hiring more efficient and connects best talent with best opportunities in scientific research organisations.
Scientific Today was launched in 2014 as Science Simplified, a science news platform with an outreach metric and aim to assist scientific organisations communicate the results of their research to the public. The platform was rebranded to Scientific Today in 2018.
Life Science Network (LSN) is a platform dedicated to exchange of knowledge in life sciences. The initial version of the platform has been launched in 2013 and it has been improved ever since. LSN platform development was our first project.
Our first non-profit organisation, Life Science Network gGmbH, was founded in Heidelberg, Germany.
